CamIQ SDK – Interface for Project Business

The CamIQ API gives developers the possibility to extend the functionality of CamIQ net with additional functions in a comfortable way. The CamIQ API also gives the option to integrate the CamIQ net into 3rd party systems.

Solutions based on the CamIQ API are updateable within the same major version.

Description

The CamIQ API is an efficient programming interface to the CamIQ net which is put on the TCP/IP as a medium of transfer. By this interface numerous functions of CamIQ applications can be used.

For example the CamIQ Control can be integrated by the CamIQ API into existing building management systems and can be “remote controlled” by it. This example of use enables the user switching on cameras on the monitors in case of alarm, starting of CamIQ scripts or initiating alarm reports.

In connection with CamIQ Satellite data from for instance production processes, merchandise management, delivery, barcodes, access control or other external data sources can be linked with image data from the video surveillance.

Access to live pictures, recorded pictures as well as the request of the report status to the CamIQ modules are possible by the CamIQ API.
